Oi, looks like someone beat me to the punch on posting that.
Anyway,
The card itself is pretty terrible, though it has some sentimental value to me, one of my first cards.

Yeah, Ember Hauler is basically better. Mogg Fanatic too, unless you really need something that deals 2 damage.

Ember Hauler and Mogg Fanatic are more cost effective, but they lack this neat-o flavor text. If they print it again, either keep this text, or quote one of Keith Olbermann's "Worst Person in the World" pieces. :D
@Gabriel422 - Even though "Bolt Troops" wouldn't make much sense name wise, I'd proliferate them like Relentless Rats (not in one deck, of course) or Lightning Bolts if Magic made:
"Bolt Troops" (working name) - {3}{R}
Creature - (Human or Elemental) Soldier
{R}, Sacrifice "Bolt Troops": "Bolt Troops" deals 3 damage to target creature or player.
