I am a pro - better than all of these self proclaimed "pros" out here I can assure you, and I think Storm Crow simply sucks. I mean, if it was really such a good card then it could come right behind me and smash my head against the keyasdglaghiwgaljealjbivnvzc le LEGDALGJFLDAELCL JLShlgsh lJlfhlgh tl jzl

Has secret rules text that says: "At end of game, shuffle him into your library."

This also goes for decks that didn't include storm crow.

So, the other day I decided I wanted to stop being the guy that always loses at magic, so I went out and got some storm crows, rite of replications, and followed footsteps. I now use a mono-green control deck that splashes blue for these cards and white for niveous wisps. I had my opponent at 6 life with 5 storm crows out when I played Akroma's Memorial and a kicked Rite of Replication. I attacked and won, but I accidentally left a storm crow out on the table. That night, while I was brushing my teeth, I heard some loud crashes and ran out of the bathroom to see what was going on. I saw a vague shape and a few dark feathers disappear into the shadows. All of my footy pajamas were missing, and when I woke up at midnight, I heard cawing and saw them on the ceiling, shredded, spelling "winter unending." I ran out and haven't been back since.

For some hymns in reverence to the great Storm Crow (the guy obviously named himself ... (see all)

I once renamed a _____ storm crow, and changed its flavor text to match. All 5 opponents left the table.

To get me a drink from my ashnod's coupons, but when they got back they scooped.

Storm Crow puts you on a 23 turn win-clock, which is faster than 26-turn Chimney Imp. Synergizes with blue tempo-counterspell cards to stop your opponent from even touching your already OP Crow. It can peck Jace the Mind Sculptor to death and dodge Stormtide Leviathan. It comes out 4 turns earlier than Frost Titan and even that doesn't have flying. Wizards had to invent Spell Snare just to slow this card down. It goes without saying that I took out all the aforementioned cards from my MUC deck because because this was a much better win condition. On top of all of that, you can discard Storm Crow for Force of Will which, by extension, knocks-out every combo-deck in legacy, modern, or extended (something you can't do with Tarmogoyf or even Chimney Imp). I would rather play against 4-copies of each of the Power Nine, than play against one copy of Storm Crow.

I us... (see all)

Some people probably have a Storm Crow in their wallet instead of pictures of their wife and child.

I have a more traditional sense of values and priorities, I have a picture of my wife and my daughter in my wallet.

But... my wife and my daughter are storm crows.

anyone here who is actually a professional will know that Storm Crow is the most BROKEN card that has ever been printed. Stupid noobs and ***y pros wont believe me, but this card is AMAZING. Its like noobs trying to understand shocklands. Most noobs will think "i have to lose two life???" thumbs up if you agree.

My only regret is I can only have 4 of this in every deck... Along with 4 Dovescapes, just to do dear Storm Crow proud *wipes tears*

Things you can do with Storm Crow:
-Win on turn 23 by itself. I know right. Crazy stuff. Imagine that with extra turn effects.. broken as hell.
-Pitch it to Force of Will. I mean how many cards can you do that with?
-Fly over Phyrexian Obliterator, Progenitus and Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre. So you can't even stop that 23 turn clock. That's power creep for you.
-Kill 1/1 soldier tokens all day. Yes I'll kill that one.. and this one and that one.
-Make it indestructible with Darksteel Plate. That's why it's banned in Commander.
-Give it infect with Phyresis and win in TEN turns. Oh my god.
-Give it protection from black with the swords and it's immune to Doom Blade! or red and it's immune to Bolt!

@TheWallinator74 - The ultimate Storm Crow deck? Hah. LO' AND BEHOLD!

Research // Development (Research), 600x Storm Crows in your backpack, Cloven Casting on the table, some 10-12 lands in place. Rest can be whatever suits you. (I recommend playing a maindeck with 28 Islands, 20 Mountains, 4 Reliquary Towers, 4 Treasure Hunts and 4 Storm Crows)

The second your opponent realizes what you're doing, GG.

Turn 1:

Island
Chrome Mox

Discard Storm Crow for imprint

Cast Tinker for Blightsteel Colossus, Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, or any of the other uber-powered, super-broken artifact creatures that somehow managed to make it past testing without being pulled.

Some boys think playing Hurloon Wrangler is a good way to get with a lady Magic Player, but those boys are just that: boys.

Real men know that, if you're looking for a card that'll help you score, it's gotta be the Storm Crow.
