You guys missed the point about Verduran Enchantress' advantage over Argothian Enchantress. Yeah, the choice to not draw a card is a nice bonus if you're facing Underworld Dreams, Black Vise, or Mill-type decks (or in danger of actually decking yourself, heh). And that extra point of toughness allows for blocking 1/X creatures and avoiding death by pingers.
But the real beauty of our Verduran lass here is that you can cast enchantments ON HER. And draw cards. That's especially important when your only creatures in play are enchantresses. So... cast enchantments on Verduran = draw more cards = get more creatures in your hand. Furthermore, you can pump her up with Rancor-type stuff, Giant Growth, equipment, etc, which means she can join in the combat. You can't do any of that with Argothian chick because of her "shroud". Trust me from experience, it makes a difference.

I'll play her over her Argothian counterpart any day. Mostly because i have to, lol. I have a playset of these, and there's no way in H-E-double hockey sticks that i'm paying 80 bucks for a playset of magic cards.

I wouldn't want to see them printing two versions of the same card in two colors at rare, let alone any rarity. Not in one set. They could print new enchantresses, though. It's fairly open design space.

@Mode - I actually like that about it. The flavour text is a subtle warning that players who evaluate cards by P/T will miss. She won't actually damage you directly, but that card draw ability, make no mistake, is dangerous. So she won't beat her opponent to death. But that doesn't mean she won't do any harm. Good flavour.

I LOVE this card. I know it's trendy now to use Argothian Enchantress instead, and I love that card too, but this is still better to me, because Argothian Enchantress, you HAVE to draw the card, where with this one, you can CHOOSE to draw or not, meaning you won't deck yourself by accident in those Enchantress decks.
