1/2 for R/U is already decent, and the ability to convert anything of yours that's countered (Among other cheapies) into permanent pump is nice.
Every part of me is screaming, however, because someone forgot to put the damned Weird creature type in there. Seriously? Seriously R&D? Are you going to continue to deprive us of Weirds, Izzet's damned creature type? For shame.

How this has a lower rating than Jackal Pup I have no idea...once this becomes broken and dominates a format the rating will go up I guarantee, still too new.
For now though this might be my favorite one drop ever, makes me wanna build a storm deck.

I use him in a heroic deck. I cast hidden strings and cypher on him then every time he attacks I target my heroics so they get pluaes and then he eats the spell. turn 2 I have a 4/4 and a 2/3. and an engine to keep going

Seems like it might be a good backup plan for Storm in case of a Mindbreak Trap or Counterflux.

Some interesting potential with Eye of the Storm/Hive Mind.
Remove the spells that you don't want to cast from the stack to fuel this guys power...
That's all I can come up with.

Ruling: You can exile a copy of an instant or sorcery spell to activate Nivmagus Elemental’s ability if you control the copy.
Gigadrowse with infinite blue mana? i think this will be the card that will unlock my johnny..... nobody tell me, i wanna figure it out! 8-D
