I misread this as "Vital Potion".
Yeah. Pretty much the exact opposite of what this does.

Now i want a card named Vital Potion that costs the same to play and activate,
which uses a similar artwork yet a vial with warm colors,
but instead regenerates the creature and untaps it.

This + Goblin Sharpshooter ? Your kitchen table gets far less cluttered.

First colorless instant speed deathtouch in the game.
That might seem extremely specific, but in a Zirilan of the Claw EDH deck, this works wonders when Thundermaw Hellkite or Bogardan Hellkite gain deathtouch for their ETB.

This card seems REALLY interesting for Commander! :D

I mean, it IS essentially a one-shot Combat Trick, but it HAPPENS to be the most relevant form and function of a combat trick I can imagine. It's on an Artifact, so you can save it for use later after casting it, and you can cast it before you Actually want to use it as long as you have ANY creature on board.

Definitely pair it up with Vedalken Orrery for maximum Rattlesnake effect!

Obviously Prophet of Kruphix, Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir, Yeva, Nature's Herald, and Leyline of Anticipation are strong in their colors,

but part of the beauty of Orrery and this is that they are Artifacts!!!

White can =definitely= make good use of both Deathtouch and Flash, and having the Orrery in a Black or Red deck would be worth a lot more "Mystery" factor-- people pretty much EXPECT Blue and often Green decks to do this and are more likely... (see all)

Guys, guys, stop. LordRandomness has it right.

This is not meant to be an offensive card or some sort of targeted removal spell that's been chopped into 2 pieces. This card is designed to be planted on the battlefield as early as turn 1 and allow you to rule the combat phase with the threat of screwing over your opponent's favorite attacker or blocker. A paranoid opponent will end up missing golden opportunities to smack you or letting you swing for large hits, fearful that you'll stick it on whomever's going toe-to-toe with the guy he wants to keep the most. In EDH, an opponent with a general who has to swing to be effective will be essentially tied down until he can get rid of your little vial (and when he does, you can sac it anyway and give it to your best guy for the turn).

That being said, I give it a 4.5/5. Loses a point for becoming useless if you tap out (plus there's a significant drop in effectiveness vs weenie token or largely burn decks), but gets half a point for... (see all)

No, the most valuable thing about this is the fact that having it in play tends to make your opponent not want to attack and can in many cases save you a lot more damage than simply deathtouch murdering one attacker. It keeps your opponent's best creature at bay rather than killing it, then when they play a better one keeps THAT one at bay.

The most valuable thing about this is its colorlessness. But Pendulous is right, there are better options if you play black or green.

Love this thing. Instant speed deathtouch is great for making blocking difficult. Colorless means I can make Prodigal Pyromancer and Crossbow Infantry a huge threat.

This might go good with some of the first and/or double striking slivers

There are worse creature removal options, but not many.
