Correction-probably the best card for Pauper sweeping, in any color. Most important matches where you need sweeping are WW, Goblins, and Storm. In all of these, most of the creatures have 1-2 toughness. Doing this for 2 and wiping their board for only 3 mana is the most efficient sweeper in the format.

Pretty effective wipe. An "X" Tremor that can be cast on ur opponents turn. Not bad at all.

Solid. Decent way to stop an elf deck, goblin deck, token deck, and pretty much any other deck that global burn spells stop :P The best thing about her is that you can use her ability at instant speed, which isn't something that a card like pyroclasm can boast about ^^

Judging from the artwork, this Martyr actually looks like she could blow the fire high enough to affect flying creatures as well. At least i think this flame looks more like a potential Pyroclasm than a Tremor.

Also pairs nicely with Basilisk Collar. Since Deathtouch and Lifelink are keywords, she will remember she had them when you sacced her, even though she isn't equipped anymore. So you get a sort of red Crypt Rats variant, with some upsides. The only true downside is that she is guaranteed not to stay in play.

Very useful as it can take out a lot of creatures in early game. This can be used simply to remove the opponent's annoying low-toughness creatures or to fill graveyards for reanimation or cards like crypt incursion, cairn wanderer or bonehoard. Good card, 4.5/5.
