@LeafWheels: What littlebeast is trying to say is that this set specifically got 2 extra lands of each type to illustrate the flavor of Mirrodin's change due to Phyrexian compleation. This isn't likely something they'll do all the time, just like with the Zendikar full-art lands. I wouldn't be surprised if they add 2 more of each for Action too, though.

I also agree, I enjoy MIrrodin land art. It looks weird next to all of the other lands, which is why I can see how other people might not like it, but it gives a good insight into the flavor of the all-metal plane, which is essential to differentiate Mirrodin from any other set. Just like how Zendikar lands have hedrons, Ravnica lands have towering buildings. Even though these lands would look weird in a deck alongside the other lands, put them all together in one artifact-based deck and they look fantastic.

Arrgh! If I write this comment, my comment rating won't be land anymore, it'll be a common! What do I do?

I like mirrodin land-art! Okay, there are better ones, but it's certainly more interesting than, say, onslaught.

And: Phyrexian land, that's why!

@Sarroth
HAIL NOSTRADAMUS!

And, M. of E. is right; Mirrodin lands were uniformly awesome. Still are; New Phyrexia's lands are pretty cool too. Eh make mana, look cool as hell, and don't afraid of anything.

I don't care what plane we're on, this is NOT what a forest should look like. All that orange and red in the back, it goes against the core principal that forests are lush and roaming with life! I see no life, and hardly any lushness!. Come on!
