@Ultratog1028 - this sounds like a doomblade argument all over.... I guess Iona is more "winning" as long as you choose the right colour.. but one swing from Emrakul is Generally game over, you need to swing atleast 3 times with Iona if you are versing a multicoloured deck, or one that has creatures out already.

Men, check this one with Emrakul, the Aenos Torn or Iona, Shield of Emeria. Especially when you can use it in response to Em's "shuffle me" triggered ability.

Can't use it easily with with Emmy anyhow, since he (nor any of the legendary Eldrazi) don't spend long in the graveyard. It's possible, since you can sac the Retainers and activate the ability in response to Emmy's triggered ability going on the stack (same as any graveyard-exiling card can get rid of them), but it's trickier than most other legends.

An Emrakul on the field demands a response, plain and simple. Might not be as good as Goryo's Vengeanceing him out, but its still better than taking ages to hardcast him. Not all opponents play Oblivion Rings, and not all opponents sacrifice the efficiency of targeted removal for sacrifice removal like Diabolic Edict. Red decks can't really answer him without Dong Zhou. And if your opponent has enchantment removal for your O-ring then you lose. Every time.
