Pretty awful flavor. Maybe if the controller lost life it would some amount of sense. Aside from that, the gain 3 life part costs a good 3-4 mana. Very much not worth it.

What's the deal with this card? You gain 3 life by poisoning someone? But it is one of the two cards that actually acknowledges that Portal's events take place in ancient China, so that's pretty cool. The other is the Portal Three Kingdom's Stone Rain.
