I find it funny that a card titled "Return to Battle" doesn't return said target to the battlefield...i know that at the time this was printed it wasn't called a battlefield but still!

This card and Disentomb are both exact copies of Raise Dead.

Return to battle???

This card name is a bit of a misnomer. It should be called "return to hand".

According to legend, after getting owned in the face with an arrow, he ate his own eye for intimidation purposes, lol. Wierdo.

"Xiahou Dun lost his left eye when he was a hit by a stray arrow during a battle against Lü Bu in the late 190s, and subsequently became known among the rank and file as "Blind Xiahou", which greatly irked him. His image as a one-eyed warrior was later popularised by Luo Guanzhong's historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, in which he yanked the arrow fired by enemy general Cao Xing out of his eye and devoured his own eyeball to instil fear in his enemies." -Wikipedia

There's your explanation for the eye swallowing.

Swallowing his eye? SWALLOWING HIS EYE?!?!? How does that even make sense?

"Oh no, my enemy has poked my eyeball out with a spear, I guess I better swallow it so nobody crushes it during the battle. Then afterwards, the medics can cut my stomach open, remove my eyeball and just pop it right back in. That is the most perfectly sensible thing to do in this situation."
