Love the flavor text, can be used both offensively to return one of your opponent's creatures to the top of their library, or can be used defensively to allow one of your own creatures to be bounced back. (For example, bouncing a Wall of Roots back to the top of your library when it has four 0/-1 counters on it, allowing you to cast it again with no counters on it.)

Recently colorshifted in Shards of Alara as Excommunicate. This was a fine card in Portal, where there were no instants, both to delay the opponent and to get more out of one's own creatures, particularly those that weakened over time or entered the battlefield with a bang.
