This has got to be one of the few old cards that has actually gotten better over time, since Mirrodin block and all that. 2.5/5

Pretty cool idea. Another card concept which the game could do with revisiting someday. Between Esper and Scarecrows, it'd probably alright in some casual formats today, maybe with that colourless mana shaved off and/or being an artifact creature itself.
