@leomistico & Lord_Xelitoth It doesn't work, because the imprint abilities on both the Mirror and Scepter are linked to the other ability. So a card imprinted on the Transreliquat using the Mirror's copied activated ability would only be played using the copied triggered ability, and it wouldn't be able to copy cards if it became a copy of the scepter, because it didn't have the CIB imprint ability and thus didn't remove anything with it. That's kinda sad, because it would also allow some crazy combos with Myr Welder...

@leomistico, the requirement actually is NOT met, because the card was removed by an ability other than isochron scepter's first ability. Even though it's not explicitly spelled out on the cards, the two abilities are linked- the second can only be used by cards exiled by the first. Similarly, the Panoptic mirror's imprint ability only impacts its triggered ability.

Combo this with Panoptic Mirror and Isochron Scepter and you can put powerful high cost instants onto a "isochron Scepter". first replicate the Panoptic Mirror and use its ability to imprint say Chant of the Vitu-Ghazi then replicate the Isochron Scepter and you have a "Chant of the Vitu-Ghazi on a stick"

another card by my favourite artist,
ive always liked this card, but due to linked abilities it lost most usefulness i wanted to build around it for...
wanted it to turn into a death mask duplicate or similar, imprint a heap of cards, and then into any other imprint card and then use those cards, however imprint doesn't work that way
still a very good card however 4/5

: You may copy the exiled card. If you do, you may cast the copy without paying its mana cost." A little convoluted, but it should work. And if it works, it should be spectacular!
Costs more than Sculpting Steel , but it's more versatile. Next time I will give it a try...!

I meant: you copy the Panoptic Mirror and with its {T} ability you exile an instant or sorcery card from your hand, say Opportunity. You can use one of the two ability of the Mizzium Transreliquat, it's the same... Then you copy the Isochron Scepter, that has an ability that reads "{2}, {T}: You may copy the exiled card.
