There's too many negatives.. No evasion, the choice, the high mana cost, along with that the fact that he's late mid game which means it will almost certainly be a card they didn't need to determine the outcome anyway and if THAT'S not enough already, he's only a 3/3.

Where do these two redundant colorless mana in the cost come from that raised it from cmc4 to cmc6?
