this must have been a monster in playtesting, because they definitely nerfed the hell out of whatever it used to be.

Not really that great, mostly because its too expensive in cost and ability. Not to mention its also an uncommon, why? I suppose that one potential reason for that would be because its uncommon you won't aquire as many copies. Thus if there are better common cards than this one, there will be a greater chance that you'll get more of them. Can't argue with that logic.
