This is just too expensive. If it were bigger, especially in defense, I would use this. But as it stands, I agree with Silverware in that its forecast ability is more useful than summoning it.

Kinda like how Gempalm Polluters are only for cycling.

This card is WAY too expensive! If it were 2WW, then it would be worth using. But as it stands, you'd be better off using other creatures in its place. I'm shocked that they put it in the new Knights deck of Knights vs. Dragons!

It seems like it would be much more usefull to keep this in your hand and keep using its ability each turn.

the cost is bigger because your not realy suposed to play the guy until you have no other creatures.

Similar to Talus Paladin and Alabaster Mage.

Aquillon's comment is insightful. While I agree that actually putting it on the field is not really going to happen very often just because of the absurd cost, while it's in your hand it's not just for giving your own creatures lifelink. The ability to essentially negate the combat damage of any creature for {1}{W} is not extremely powerful, but pretty good. Think about it as an expensive, reusable fog.

Aquillion is correct: You use this card only for its forecast ability. The ability to play it as a creature just adds to the flexibility. Remember: You can target your opponents creatures.
