Should have been a Creature - Zombie Muffin Cleric.

This is very underrated. The ability to toss creatures AND lands in the grave for draw power is excellent for fueling sacrifice, graveyard recycling decks, Unearth, Dredge, and Madness. It being a Zombie also makes it very playable in Zombie decks too.
The two biggest problems are Hellbent (which definitely limits the card's playability somewhat except in Hellbent decks) and the art. It's not a very attractive card, the creature appears confusing if not nonsensical, and it doesn't even resemble a zombie.
If the art were better, I'd definitely get it, but as it stands, Ghoulraiser's much more preferable for theme decks.

Instead of making it common, should given it a boost to its P or T (because lets face it, power inflation is completely rampant) or remove the hellbent and make you sacrifice more something (mana, creatures, etc)

Actually this is a rather decent card when used with extractor demon now, sac a creature mill em for 2, and you dont have to rely on topdecking next turn. Also its a zombie so it works well with lich lord of unx.

The Hellbent requirement really wasn't necessary.

Weak ability even if it didn't have the Hellbent requirement. 3 CMC for 2/2 is meh. Should have been a common, at least.
