Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Hand of Justice and is presumably the spell he casts all the time (possibly why it has flashback?)

The Hand of Justice would be proud.

An obnoxiously effective card for a common.
They don't get to attack with their creatures the same turn they use this, but they get to play a land, and take out a critical threat in the same turn.
It can mess you up pretty badly, and having it come back to bite you late game, when they have more creatures to spare, is no favor to me.

If your opponent is playing this card, you need to keep the pressure on, and trade as early and often as possible.
If you do it right, they will not have the creatures to play this in the first place.

The additional effect and flashback cost are referring to Hand of Justice.

A bit hard to use against some decks, and absolutely backbreaking against others.

Interesting draft option. Really makes you want to try monowhite.
You could try it with Even the Odds in-block and Timely Reinforcements out of block.

First off, dayum. That is some amazing art.
Second, I have no complaints about this card whatsoever. The initial casting is fair, trading offense for a single burst of removal, but the second casting is hilarious. Suddenly, another one of their beatsticks is gone. Excellent.
Third, this combos marvelously in block with Marshaling Cry. Swing with your creatures, then tap 'em after combat for mop-up. Repeat later with both spells. Viola, any major threat that isn't combat related should be removed.
