I was so glad they timeshifted Shadow Guildmage. Newer players might not suspect this guy actually has some tournament pedigree.

Funniest thing about this is that it can prevent you decking as an absolute last resort.

a good 1 mana utility guy! both abilities can be useful, the red one is awesome!

This creature can save your own and help kill opponents'. It allow you to replay creatures with CIP abilities. It was used, IIRC, in a championship mono-black deck using City of Brass, Undiscovered Paradise, and Gemstone Mine to utilize this card and sideboard to a great degree.

Twang! You're dead. I love this guy, he lets me abuse stuff like Rune-Scarred Demon and Disciple of Bolas in my Crosis, the Purger EDH. He also takes care of annoying one-drops like Mother of Runes.
