Back in the day if you'd polled every Magic player in my school, which for a short while was pretty much everyone, this could well have come out as their collective favourite card. Everyone had one in their deck.

One of the most useful artifacts ever made- glad there's a foil now!
For one mana you get back your entire graveyard.
It's an easy way to bring back dead cards in ANY deck,
and a super cheap and easy way to beat, or at least stall, mill and discard decks.
I can't help but see the irony in the fact
that it's mostly oldschoolers who use the Cane ;-)
