She's a recurrable 2/2. That can be very effective even without the sac ability.
On another note, the art for many of the Eidolons depicts them flying, but they don't have flying. Isn't that supposed to be something WotC avoid nowdays?

That this is the lowest rated card in the whole set bodes well for Dissension's general usefulness.

Sacrifice abilities on things like this is so they don't get exiled or shuffled into your deck by your opponents stuff. Lets you get them back easier.

Sac cost is fine; I'd pay that. But you have to pay 4 to get a 2/2 into play to even be able to pay that cost? All so you can prevent 3 damage? Way too overcosted.

you guys are missing he point. The thing that's good about eidolons isn't their sack abilities, it's the "when you play a multicolored spell return this to your hand" part. Zombie Infestation? Magus of the Bazaar, looters/brokers?

even though all of those are mono colored, you get the idea. These cards are great when all it takes to get 8 eidolons out of your graveyard is a Lightning Helix.
