Personally i see it as the best hit ever, i carry 4 in my goblin storm deck it always is a game winner. sorcery speed is the only draw back. puts scattershot to shame from scourge too.

Relentless rats after a good thruming stone on turn four and this is a huge mill
Turn one land, turn two land, turn three land, Seething song, thruming stone,turn four drop a Demon's Horn, turn five relentless rats and thurmingstone trigger for at least 20 rats and throw with the two mana untaped Grapeshot and gain 20 life first.

@SerenChaos: If your first spell is a Grapeshot and then you Twincast it, the first grapeshot triggers, then twincast's copied grapeshot triggers, and that copy triggers two more copies because of storm as the first grapeshot and twincast had been played. This gives you a total of four grapeshots. Same for Pyromancer Ascension.
It gets more complicated if you twincast a grapeshot with a Pyromancer Ascension out on the field with its two quest counters. In that instance, we have the first Grapeshot (lets name this G1), which is copied by the Pyromancer Ascension, which triggers a copy of Grapeshot (G2). If you twincast G1, Pyromancer Ascension actually gives you two twincasts now (let's say T1 and T2). Technically the second would resolve first. So T2 gives you G3, and its storm ability triggers twice because of G1 and T1 (this gives you G4 and G5). Then Twincast 1 resolves, and T1 gives you G6, which notices that you already played G1, ... Storm is the ultimate 'win more' tactic: if you play a bunch of spells, then you get a bunch of free spells on top! Disgusting with Cascade and Affinity.
In fact, someone needs to go out right now and figure out 'Affinity-Cascade-Storm'.dec'
Seems like I was under-rated before. :/ I mean, low-cost artifacts count toward a storm count you know...and Affinity is not bad at playing more than one spell a turn. eh, whatevs.
Since we already see that Storm Decks will always use whatever mana ramp and card draw to play whatever they want, then I actually don't see it as unreasonable to suggest a card that does
"Lightning Bolt + Storm"
Make it cost as much as Dragonstorm if you think that's too insane. I've seen Storm deck lists, and it really looks to me like it doesn't matter if your kill spell deals 1 original damage or 200 original damage. The Storm keyword will take care of the difference between what the card does and your opponents' life points, so why not make a really huge, real... (see all)
