Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Yavimaya Granger or possible Wood Elves and many dryads, such as Shanodin Dryad, which have forest walk. Putting lands into play under another player's control is relatively unique, however!

While Wood Elves allows you to use the forest immediately, and only requires a single green to use; I prefer the Dryad in most cases. It provides so many opportunities for diplomacy, and can be a lifesaver in team play.

Not outstanding for mana acceleartion or damage source alone, but these combined is why I like this card. It can be a lesser Wood Elves early on when you need the land, act as a steady chipper on your opponent's life, or open the door for Elvish Champion, making it versatile at any stage of the game in many decks with extra slots.
You can also search for Ravinca dual-lands and balance the mana advantage given to your opponent by playing Cold-Eyed Selkie

I appreciate the idea, and I find it very viable,
But I just can't get around the fact that you're giving your opponent more mana to work with.
I'm sure if you're willing to use this as a form of win-con, then it's worth it.
But putting my opponent ahead a turn is just...
I don't know, maybe it's just me.
4/5

Would have been better as an elf, but an amazing card in general. Multiple potential uses is awesome.
