hmm, just keep grabbing creatures that tap for mana. Then win with Epic Struggle, Biorhythm+Test of Endurance, or Progenitus. I feel like making a green/white enchantment deck all of a sudden.

Don't let Cromat see this place, or he'll go berserk! He loves him a tasty polar bear @_@

Alright, is there a slower card with this much power in the game? It took me about 5 tries to win with my hibernation deck, and it was totally worth it. A challenging, but fun card to build around.
Use Braid of Fire to power it and the firebreathers you pluck. As long as you have those two cards, grab a shard phoenix and go crazy.
It is so slow that you need a way to prevent your opponent from overwhelming you before you can get any power on the board. Try using all fliers (including birds of paradise for your first hibernation drop) and fault lines to keep them at bay. If you can get up to a scourge of kher ridges, then you must have succeeded enough and the game will be yours.
2nd flying hibernation drop: arcbound stinger
3rd drop: Chandra's Spitfire (good with fault lines in multi-player)
4th drop: furnace/dragon whelp
After that the choices for killer fliers are practically endless.

It's a slow startup, since it only increments one per turn, it might be possible to make a proliferate deck around this guy, but that might be prohibitaly random.
Three things to point-out that others have hinted at:
1.) You still have your normal draw-phase with this out. 2 cards per turn. One of which you get to search for. Green card advantage. Say it a few times in your head before you dismiss this guy.
2.) It gets out any color creature. This could be very well abused.
3.) If you want to use this 100%, make sure you've got creatures at each CMC, i.e. throw some 3 CMC creatures in there. Just hope you don't draw them before you can fetch them. Consider also mana-generating creatures like Llanowar elves, Diligent Farmhand or Borderland Ranger

@Steinhauser: Pregnant polar bears do hibernate, though, at least as much as a bear can hibernate. Perhaps these bears here are females who gave birth recently.

Can you still counter the creature that comes into play? Not the ability itself but the creature? Would it be considered a spell still?

Gyre Sage and this are best friends, every turn you get to find a card that keeps the Sage big enough to pay for the next turn.

This is too slow. Green can reasonably drop this 3rd turn, which means on your fourth turn it nets you a free one-drop, turn five you get a free 2cc, etc... By then it shouldn't even matter.
