If you are playing Sphinx-Bone Wand with various token generating spells, you need only attack with them and something should die. If they block and kill something, you get this back and can charge the Wand again.

Well, who wants to pay 3GreenGreen more to have a Giant Growth twice instead of just once?
And this even under the restriction that one of your creatures has to die for it to work. Not to mention the right timing which is needed as well; if you don't have 1Green open at the right moment it will just be exiled. No, thanks.

It's alright for limited, but Recover is generally a regrettably rather unplayable ability in my opinion.
It would have been much cooler if the card wouldn't be returned but casted from graveyard, and exiled afterwards.
