I kind of agree with Kitsune, as it does give a delayed cantrip; thus, because it's not an instant "Draw a card", 3 damage worth of prevention would make more sense for that extra {1}.

Hey it could save a creature, or just prevent 2 damage and lets you draw a card. Not the worst thing in the world, but not something I would deck if I had better options. 2/5

It's a decent combat trick in limited. It's very common for creatures of the same size to rumble, and this will save yours while your creature kills theirs, then this replaces itself.
