I drafted like 8 of these in limited once. I would almost always get them all in one ore two shots. 16 power for 3 mana is pretty good i hear :D

I have 4 of these guys in my white/red soldier deck just 'cause I love 'em.
Yesterday I was dueling my friend and actually got it to ripple another sentiel out. We were both shocked.

Cute with Congregation at Dawn, but still not absolutely amazing.

ripple is something very unlikely unless you manipulate or play relentless rats with ripple

I ended up with 4 of these after purchasing the Kjeldoran Cunning Pre-fab deck.
I can see this working with Reinforcements provided you've got them in your graveyard to begin with. Using deck manipulation spells to force a ripple effect doesn't seem viable. Apart from the unlikely ripple potential, it's an overpriced Elvish Archers

Ripple is one of the worst abilities of all time, if not THE worst. There's nothing quite like an ability that never works. Ever.

The token black soldier in the artwork is hilarious. Not trying to be racist, but I doubt they had black people in an ice age setting.

Useless in constructed, not bad in Coldsnap limited if you have more than four.

Ripple cards were basically designed for limited because most stores weren't stocked with Ice Age or Fallen Empires boosters (or they were prohibitively expensive to use for sealed). This resulted in most Coldsnap sealed formats being Coldsnap alone, so the variance of cards was much lower than normal. Ripple was thus quite potent in that format (but the constructed applications were extremely limited).
