This could do mean things with affinity. It helps get affinity rolling nicely and nets you a draw once you no longer need it for cost reduction. Or just sack it to ravager, that works too

Ok, I'm giving this card a 6/5. If only I could... Reason being this card along with Urza's Bauble and Street Wraith virtually allows you to play with a 48 card deck. Epic Win.

Potentially easy metalcraft in an Affinity deck, plus a nice bonus. Might be worth running in a budget Modern Affinity deck, or a Legacy one with Urza's Bauble.

Did anyone notice that this card has Yawgmoth's mask on it? Right there in the center...

This and Booby Trap are silly together.

Turn 1: Dump hand of these, Lotus Petal, and Urza's Bauble. Empty opponent's hand with Balance. Sac baubles to refill hand.
Turn 2: Yawgmoth's Will. Replay all baubles, replay land, replay petals. Sac petals, play Storm Crow. Good game.

I had a set of these used against me combined with Twilight Shepherd and things got ugly quickly. I've learned not to underestimate seemingly trivial artifacts designed by Mishra.

This, and Urza's Bauble rock. I often make stream-lined decks under 60 cards, and adding these makes them legal, (at a slight cost of deck speed). My 52 card transmogrant deck uses these to fill it out, and has Salavging Station as part of the combo. So Salvaging the baubles gives it a little more card draw for free. I have about 6 sets of the baubles in use in my decks.
I would agree that Mishra's is slightly better than Urza's

This card might be preferable to Urza's Bauble, as here the shown card isn't chosen at random and its position can be slightly beneficial in conjunction with clash effects.
Yet both cards are interesting artifacts to trigger some cip or "pig" effects or - by accepting some disadvantage - shrinking the deck size.
