At least the flavor text is fun.

Swamphome, I wonder if this is the first card to have this ability. Make a Plainshome for giggles. Ignore the haters.

Sigh... another Sea Serpent. Admittedly, I think it fits black better.

There is a creature with foresthome, Gorilla Pack. I wouldn't hold my breath for a plainshome or mountainhome creature.

Hey Wizards, you know what everyone just absolutely loves, sea serpents, why don't you just go ahead and make about 3 variants in every set from now on, until forever. Thanks.

It's a timeshifted card, people. Complain not about the card itself, but that Wizards for whatever reason decided to timeshift a card that no one really likes in the first place.
Though, from my point of view, sea serpents are one of the staples of what Magic has come to be, bad as they are. So, flavor wise, I think this fits well.
Still a bad card mechanic wise, though.

Well it's not a terrible card if you're running Evil Presence and Contaminated Ground. Same goes for Sea Serpent and Spreading Seas

I scribbled "Lightning Greaves" on it and it made a pretty good proxy for my EDH deck.

I just see it as a mediocre wall. But two downsides, with no upside, makes it kinda sad. Black doesn't need this. Come see me when its 3B though.
