On another thought, this guy would be nice in an angel deck, if only you needed red.

If sulfur is the first thing played, it clearly states that "players can't play spells or activate abilities as long as it is on the stack". Does It leave the stack when it resolves? Otherwise I don't see how split second isn't basically a silence that effects both players.

It's a 3/2 red creature! Made of sulfur! Who has flash because... Stuff, and split second too, whatever. And he gives... white creatures +1/-1? WHY? This has got to be my least favorite card of all time. It just doesn't make any kind of sense.
