if read the oracle rulings, it explains your question. it checks all spells, abilities and other modifies on the field and those coming into play. once it has finally hit the battlefield it will allow you to look in your library for your creature. as for putting a 1/1 into play when Might is already there, it would be a 3/3 entering the battlefield. 0/6, 1/5, 2/4, 3/3, 4/2, 5/1, 6/X (since X=O) would all be valid searches.

What I think is really awesome about this card is the only requirement is same power and toughness, meaning I can zoom in to using a spellbreaker after I play this, which only costs 4 mana, and go find something that costs 6 or 7 but is still a 5/5, like a flameblast dragon. That is some cool stuff once you get the ball rolling, you can play two really massive creatures a turn. Your opponent might counter spell one or two but eventually they will run out, and on top of that you can use creatures like the spellbreaker I just suggested to automatically trigger the second creature, that is now uncounterable because of my first one. I imagine even a 3 mana thoctar could find some good use for this, there are a lot of nice 5/4's with an ability, and even if you use it only to get a second thoctar, you still have 2, 5/4's in play in one turn. It may cost 6 mana, but thats pretty easy in green, and your investment doubles every turn you keep it in play.

Brutal with slivers in play. play a sliver and then search through your toolbox for the ability you need most. Shroud? check. Artifact/enchantment destruction? check. trample? Haste? Provoke? Check check check. Very nice.

I had a lot of fun making a couple different decks with this card. I think i wrung just about all of the johnny juice out of it. the last instantiation used hypergenisis to get it out, then lots of card drawing creatures (mulldrifter for example) to get to my combo. deep sea krakens (hopefully you've drawn enough cards to have two, netting you four with the wild pair) with akromas memorial for some hasty unblockable killage.

Horned Kavu is best friends with Ball Lightning and Groundbreaker.

Just return itself, so you only pay GR to play a Ball Lightning. Sick.As.Ice Cream.

I have a question as far as coming in to play from your hand goes: If i was to have a Might Sliver on the field and I played a 1/1 sliver with Wild Pair on the field, would i have to search for a creature with p+t=6 or 2? ie; does the sliver get buffed before or after wild pair comes into effect?
