1 more for Mahamoti and many much better creatures, so I'd pass. Was good a LONG time ago if you couldn't afford a decent rare.

Blue's answer to the Fire Elemental back in the day.
This card is hugely underrated. For blue, it is lb for lb one of the absolute best creatures you can get for 5CC. Don't believe me? Do a search of blue creatures with a power of 5, and then look at CC's... Water Elemental is one of the lowest, if not THE lowest, and it lacks the drawbacks of a lot of other creatures.
Some may say this has seen its time, but I think a 5/4 creature in a deck laden with things that give flight and knock blockers out of the way with unsummon has its place.
4/5

What's unpredictable about an over-costed blue creature?

Dude in the boat is like "I am tripping out right now, I just saw a dude's face in the water, and I think he's grabbing my pedal."
Can you imagine trying to boat your way over to places and having an elemental just grab your oar and make a face at you? I think I'd die of a heart attack.
That said, is this really what unpredictability looks like?
