This is a white 2 drop compared to a green 5 drop. Further, Mycoloth is only good if you have stuff to sac for it and IMO it's better to just overrun rather than get 10-for-1'd because you devoured all your creatures.

You mean, you can never die if they don't kill mycoloth. That must mean that they either don't have bigger creatures or have no removal/pseudo-removal.
