So if you put a counter on him it is basically a +2/+2 counter?

Ever used Doubling Season to make a Scute Mob into a 33/33, then played a Hamletback Goliath, then on top of THAT, play this guy while said Scute Mob was out alongside a 6/6 Protean Hydra and a 4/4 Apocalypse Hydra? You have a Hamletback Goliath that gets pumped to 90/90 because this guy comes in as a 42/42, but then he gets pumped even more because Hamletback Goliath gets +1/+1 counters for this guy, then in turn, those counters push this guy all the way up to 126/126.

With a couple grafters, soul's might, and possibly a quest for the gemblades this guy goes into double digits FAST, and if he was on suspend, he gets haste too. Lots of fun.

Dang.. this card and mayael's aria.. be something like +3 a turn and whatever counters it was adding while suspended. Also great with good ol' mycoloth, to make more saprolings every turn.

I love how you can suspend him for one.

@ Wormfang: That's because Thelon deals with spore counters, not +1/+1 counters.

@Tommy9898 - It's in a color that is known for the amount of creatures that it can pump out...
