Not even Robocop can kill it. But I'd never maindeck it, ever.

Wow, okay.
They are holding the saw vertically because that's how you carry it when not cutting.
The tree is smiling because he just resisted saw damage, as evidenced by the scratches.

Blasted trample rules don't even let this protect you from Blightsteel Colossus... adorable picture though.

Because the card text isn't visible to them, sigh!

Funny art, the card itself is quite bad outside very artifact-heavy blocks (like Mirrodin).

If it would be 4/6 or have trample, or destroy an artifact on coming into play or leaving play: sure. But this udnerwhelming.

This is the perfect garbage bin common: too cute to complain about its competitiveness, borderline useful in few situations and borderline useless in most others. They pretty much nailed it

Suggestion for fixed version, as inspired by majinara:

Scion of Fangorn 3GGGG

Creature--Treefolk (M)

Trample, protection from artifacts
Whenever Scion of Fangorn deals damage to an opponent, target player sacrifices an artifact.
Scion of Fangorn's Power and Toughness are each equal to the number of Forests you control.

I have to take issue with the picture. First of all it looks like the two guys are holding the saw vertically parallel to the treefolk. Secondly the treefolk seems to be enjoying it, as he is smiling. Why would it smile if people are trying to kill you?

why are they trying to use an artifact to cut it down if it's got protection from artifacts?

Useless trivia: this is the only creature with "Scion" in its name that kinda sucks.

Hilarious flavor, though.
