Two of my favorite pairings have to be Tyrant of Discord with Realm Razer, and Dauntless Escort with Novablast Wurm.

It's friggin' entwined Tooth and Nail with an easily played around restriction (Forbidden Orchard, hunted anything, blah blah blah). WHAT THE HELL?

One of the creatures you fetch could be Twilight Shepherd to get Defense of the Heart back.

You should just pull, as someone suggested, Iona and Painter's Servant.
Or you could pull Pestermite/Deceiver Exarch and Kiki-Jiki

The card is powerful but not broken. In the current Vintage/Legacy environment, there are quite a few creatureless decks, so this card would never trigger.
It's more powerful in casual games, because there are usually more creatures. This card is also pretty useful in multiplayer, as someone is likely to have a creature-heavy deck.

I'll be damned if this isn't one of the more crippling cards in the Commander format.
Grab Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Spearbreaker Behemoth.
