Argh, why couldn't have a card for Jodah in any of the Time Spiral sets? He's such a cool and important character in the story line.

A more decent remake of Urza's Avenger, blue double strike sounds awesome, too.
Looking forward to see a bunch of Planar Chaos' "Color Pie experiments" in future sets.

I was thinking, mmm, is there IN THE WORLD a better equipment target for Umezawa's Jitte????? So, of course, double strike and shadow, 4 damage for 6 mana, not ALL that great but what's with the 4 counters? Mmm, let's just say 20 damage next turn, or every other turn if this card survives.

try using both double strike and shadow. He hits twice for 2 with an evasion that is almost as good as unblockable. Essentially making him unblockable for free.

The one use for this card: Experiment Kraj EDH. Giving Kraj evasion and absurd damage potential in one card is convenient in a highlander format. Six is a bit pricy, but not the end of the world.

This is the PERFECT card for Dimir's Cipher mechanic. In colour, makes itself unblockable, gives itself DOUBLE STRIKE for double cipher triggers, and can even save itself from burn, all in the same turn.

In the right game, this thing is fantastic.

it wasn't a ruse, it was a trap.
