Gandalf the White? Ley Druid has always taken a backseat to Llanowar Elves in terms of mana ramp popularity, mainly because his casting cost is a bit high. With that said, a few Wild Growths can suddenly make the druid very powerful. Not to mention that you can use it with lands like Maze of Ith. Some early lockdown decks utilized Ley Druid to permanently power Stasis.
