Push on a shove, they don't mean much

You can pretty much control when this turns black by tapping for blue mana and THEN playing a land. In that sense, there are very few advantages an Island has over this. This isn't the most reliable source of black mana, but it's still reliable for blue and has virtually no drawbacks.

This card is just simply beautiful in it's color scheme. I want 4 of these for my Blue-Black Control deck.

I love both Future Sight land cycles. I hope to see them finished some day . . .

You know, you could use its ability, THEN play a land. This thing is almost strictly better than an island.

STYLE POINTS ARE MINE. This is quite easy to use...and effective, too. A good dual land, given it's 'supposed' restrictions.

So the first turn you play this, you get . Then the choice is whether to play a land before you tap it to get or play a land after you tap it to get ...it's a neat concept. Is it ever useful, though?
The art is spectacular, and suits this frame so well, as a few cards from this set do. Some cards completely clash with it, like Grove of the Burnwillows, which hurts the eyes, or Horizon Canopy, where the blue-green of the frame and the yellow-green of the art clash subtly and wash out the whole card. But I think this is the prettiest MAGIC card I've seen.
Other nice ones with Future Sight frames are Bitter Ordeal, Korlash, Heir to Blackblade, and Blade of the Sixth Pride suits full-frame so well; the art reminds me of Sam Keith (of The Maxx comic book fame).
