You can still chump block, it just won't kill anything.
Not that your opponent would be attacking with anything smaller than a 3/2 anyway.

Man, there guys hold good memories for me, back when I was just learning the game. So cute! Great flavor! (Literally)
Re-the damage on the stack thing, I always say WotC doesn't have judges in your house, if you have friends who feel the same way, just play it your way. I support the change cause damage on the stack always felt like cheating.
