When Clone goes to the graveyard, will any "goes into the graveyard" effects trigger? Specifically, if it copies something w/ Persist, will the Clone come back at all? I guess the question is, when does it stop being the copied card and become the Clone card again?

@Olorin_Grayhame

I'm not sure about persist (my guess is that the Clone comes back), but for general purposes (for instance, if Clone copies your opponent's (or your own) Kokusho, the Evening Star) the "enters the graveyard"/"enters the graveyard from play" effects trigger.

Four mana is far from too much to destroy a legendary creature or bypass the four-card limit!

Use with undying and Infinite Reflection from AVR to make all your creatures clones.

Question about kicked cards: if clone copies a card that was kicked, then does it get the kicked stats? Or can you kick the clone as you're casting it? Or neither? The way the rules on this read as follows:

706.2. When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object’s characteristics and, for an object on the stack, choices made when casting or activating it (mode, targets, the value of X, whether it was kicked, how it will affect multiple targets, and so on).

This sounds like it's saying that you get the kicked stats only if you could somehow cast clone while the other creature is still on the stack? Am I reading that correctly?
