Nantuko are quite a contemplative race, for insect druids of the krosan, their flavour text in particular, the Nantuko teachings are great storywise and give the cards a little more depth.
He has workable tribals, and a sharkfin mohawk, I guess that's one reason hes more poplar with todays kids.
Swarmyard makes him viable in rat decks, as he can eat his fare share of tokens, the same job he does in zombie decks.

No question that this is good; remember those Ghost Husk decks from Kamigawa/Ravnica/10th standard?
I like the flavor of this the best out of the three cards with the same effect. Plenty of Phyrexian zombies/horrors or cliched vampires in this game, not so many mystical insect ghosts.

The biggest thing to remember is what deck type you're going for.
This guy is good in a zombie deck, and Vampire Aristocrat is good in a vampire deck.
People say "Well, what's the difference?"
Well, let me tell you.
I'd rather have Blade of the Bloodchief on a Vampire sac engine than this guy here.
And, likewise, I'd rather have this guy in with a Cemetary Reaper.
So, for those who don't understand what the big deal is,
Pay attention to card types.

Oh, so so sooo good.
So good they made it three times.
Only, the last one they got the creature type wrong.

Hey, McThor! I just saw the same thing on a Phyrexian Ghoul! It doesn't help me understand it, though.

I don't understand why this is more popular than Vampire Aristocrat. They are the same thing with different tribes.
