I like this better than Soul's Attendant because when a person inevitably forgets about the life gain you are able to get it retroactively. It may be worse, but it is definitely more convenient and disarms arguments and disagreements.

Over the course of a long game, this 1 drop can net some life over time. But unless you got a combo, its weak seeing it late game.
