And then you realise hes packing 4 Lord of Arlantis and that Merfolk of the pearl trident is'nt going to attack.
The days when flavour text was all you would see between the card art and the power /toughness
haha, yep I'll give it that other half to make it a star.

Anyone have any idea why this ogre is described as "Gray?" It's a boring, vanilla creature by today's standards, but it filled an important role in its day. I doubt Wizards of the Coast was trying to highlight what a mediocre card this was. I wish I could relate some fond memory I have of this card, but all I can remember is playing against my mom and having her block my Gray Ogre over and over with her Wall of Wood.

Remember the good-old days when you dropped this on the table and felt good because it outclassed your opponent's Merfolk of the Pearl Trident ?

Has obviously lost a step. 1/5 for pure nostalgia.

I remember having a friend explain Magic to me and the mana symbols. This was one of the cards he used. Definitely brings back fond memories of excitement at seeing the game for the first time, the five colours of magic, mana, power and toughness. Time when Craw Wurm was an impressive creature (to the newcomer).

That's a lot of thought for an ogre. And as a 2/2, not much fighting.
