Redirection is a red ability, but this still feels blue. Partly because it's Deflection for 1 mana cheeper, partly because redirection still is more blue then red.

"You" AND "Target" are two very different text words. You means the spells controller because it doesnt target you can't change the target however with cards like Guile you can however take control instead.

I thought that ZioKai was reffering to Reroute. However, Reroute only applies to an activated ability- tapping, paying cost, etc - not just going into play. If the definition was any fuzzier, Reroute would be almost broken.

If you use this on an opponent's Cancel, and redirect the target of Cancel to this spell, what happens?
If this spell is countered by Cancel, then the redirection never occurs, meaning that this spell resolves normally, but if it resolves normally, it should be countered.
Divide by zero?

@IndianaWalsh: SuicidalTendancies is right, Cancel fizzles because it no longer has a legal target, however Reverberate would probably be better in most cases, since you could just copy the Cancel and counter it with the copy.
Shunt is ... well yeah, it can be good. Nothing like Shunting a large Fireball or similar spell to toast your opponent, that's for sure, but I'd still prefer having Reverberate in most cases because it's cheaper and can double the damage from your burn spells.
That's not to say that Shunt is a bad card, because it can do a lot of stuff that Reverberate can't. Shunt is just more situational, which means that there's a chance that it could end up as a "dead" card, just sitting in your hand when you'd rather have Reverberate to deal more damage with that Lightning Bolt/a...
