Too bad you can't remove any counter with that one. Hex Parasite is a bit more flexible at that.
Still a nice one-drop for a suspend/cúmulative upkeep deck.

Dangerously aggressive in any suspend deck playing red. I don't have any truly strong suspend cards, but this works quite well in powering out Keldon Halberdier.

but hex parasite can't remove time counters from a suspended card. suspended creatures aren't permanent yet. And not all spells with suspend are permanents either.
