I really like how this card can either help you or hinder your opponent. Combine it with a Nettling Imp or Siren's Call to blast the offender off the planet.

If u put this on a snow creature (i.e. ohran viper) would it make snow mana?
edit: So you could use it to regenerate a rimebound dead, for example. Thanks for the answer.

You don't see creature control in green that often. The fine thing about Utopia Vow is that you can interpret it in different ways. If your early beater is stopped, he can help accelerate your mana and in the late game, when mana doesn't matter anymore you can stop their biggest threat.

I cant say enough good things about this card. combo it with heartstone (2 for Pili-Pala)and any one of the following;
Duergar Mine-Captain
knacksaw clique
silkbind faerie
patrol signaler
Pili-Pala
whichever card infinite loop
I suppose you could use paradise mantle alternatively

A green version of Path to Exile, if you think about it. That doesn't make it great though, since it costs more and has some obvious flaws.

@reichert55: It gives the creature the ability, so he would be able to tap the creature for mana. You would not.

Pacifism when you need it, mana fixing when you don't.
