So... just tap your lands for mana at the end of the opponent's turn. So without mana burn it really does nothing.

So this card forces them to tap out ever so briefly at the end of your turn...just enough time to sneak an instant under a counterspell web. That said, the end of mana burn really hurt this card :/

Tapping for mana cannot be responded to. So when they say 'done', you announce that you'll tap all your lands for mana. They cannot do anything else than tap lands for mana before their turn ends.

Ergo: this card is dead as a door nail. Shame on WotC.

yes, it does. It deals damage to you if you want to play spells at sorcery speed. Duh.
Mana won't float past your upkeep unless you have upwelling or something

It still has some use with Winter Orb or anything else that prevents lands from untapping.

And still somehow more useful than Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded.
