nope. just what it says:
it can be blocked - but if it gets blocked, you still have the choice to deal the damage to your opponent instead of the blocker.

well....i do see SOME value in this card. like if you put a blanchwood armor or 2 on it, then it can game a person. lol

A criminally underrated green creature common. A green deck worth its weight can have this out on the second turn and attacking the third, preferably pumped up with Giant Growth or something similar.
