This is no Plummet. But it doesn't have to be. This card was in my very first Magic deck, a green precon with cards added to make it 60 cards (the core set precons used to only have 40 cards in them.) I'm not entirely sure why I played it, but it killed at least one Akroma, which felt amazing at the time.

Plummet costs 1 less and is an instant for the same cost, making it better in every way. This was the bees' knees when it came out though.
